On the 15th February 2016….
Marden was fairly quiet this evening, with small numbers of Tufted Duck, Pochard and Mallard on the freshwater. No sign of any Gadwall today. In the surrounding woodland, there was a feeding party of Long-tailed Tits and some Blue, Coal and Great Tits. No sign of any Goldcrests or thrushes. A couple of Chaffinches could be heard, whilst Moorhens and Coots were actively exploring.
In the car park a couple of Herring Gulls were relaxing close to a wall.

There were also some very brave Carrion Crows from up here in the north beyond the wall.
